MSC – Achtsames Selbstmitgefühl
Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically supported, 8-week training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion.
Self-compassion is a way of relating to ourselves with kindness and acceptance, especially when we make mistakes or feel inadequate. Research shows that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional wellbeing, emotional strength, and resilience.
MSC was first developed in 2010 by two pioneering psychologists, Christopher Germer, PhD, and Kristin Neff, PhD, who founded the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion: www.centerformsc.org
